Snake Head Ritual

"Snake Head Ritual are true rock n' roll saviors on a mission to keep the rock alive," is the description of this band, according to the artist's page on the Grooveyard Records web site. The band is further described as "a timeless, blues-based, retro-sonic, hard rock masterpiece of classic proportions."

All of which translates to a band worthy of note - these guys are very good. Their style is reminiscent of Bachman-Turner Overdrive, with the vocals of Kevin Chez sounding much like BTO singer Fred Turner. Guitarists Bill McCullough and John Keller, bassist Chris Graham, and drummer Josh LaForge round out this outstanding lineup that produces some of the best hard rock sounds we have heard in years.
